Speaker of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova Arrives in Russian Federation on a Working Visit

The parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova arrived in St Petersburg, Russian Federation on 10 July to take part in a meeting of the Council of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly and the 10th Parliamentary Forum of the BRICS States.

The delegation were welcomed at the Pulkovo Airport by Deputy Speaker of the St Petersburg Legislative Chamber Pavel Itkin, the current member of the St Petersburg Government and Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St Petersburg Yevgheniy Grigoryev, Secretary General of the CIS IPA Council Dmitry Kobitsky, Azerbaijan’s Consul General in St Petersburg Sultan Gasimov, Permanent Representative of the Milli Majlis at the CIS IPA Aydin Jafarov and other officials.

During the visit, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova will take part in the plenum of the BRICS Parliamentary Forum and in the meeting of the CIS IPA Council.
