The Third Trilateral Meeting of the Speakers of Parliament Azerbaijan-Pakistan-Türkiye has begun in the capital of Pakistan, the city of Islamabad on 13 October. The Executive Meeting was held first.

Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sardar Ayaz Sadig and Chairman of the Great National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmuş took part in the event. Having emphasised the significance of the high-level brotherly relations between our countries and parliaments, the Speakers of Parliament voiced the hope that this meeting would generate a powerful momentum behind the achievement of the goals and tasks set within the field of trilateral parliamentary co-operation.

An expansive exchange of opinions about the items on the agenda was held at the Executive Meeting.

The opening ceremony of the Third Trilateral Meeting of the Speakers of Parliament Azerbaijan-Pakistan-Türkiye was held then.

It should be mentioned that the Trilateral Meeting will continue today in broad discussions with addresses by the Speakers of Parliament and participation of MPs.
