Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has met with Speaker of the Kuryltai of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aibek Dädebai in the format of her visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.

First of all, Aibek Dädebai thanked Sahiba Gafarova for the congratulations upon his election as Speaker of Kuryltai.

Satisfaction was expressed during the conversation with the high level of the friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, with the due mention made of the development of our countries’ strategic partnership and alliance with each day. They underlined the importance of the role of the Heads of State in the progress of our countries’ relations, adding that, thanks to their joint endeavours, the mutual links are advancing in various areas. The Speakers also underlined the significance of our Parliaments’ co-operation within the TURKPA.

Aibek Dädebai indicated the interest in continuing the development of the ties with the Azerbaijani Parliament. He accentuated the necessity of expanding the inter-parliamentary co-operation bilaterally and within international organisations.

According to Sahiba Gafarova, the relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are solidly rooted in history whilst also resting upon the common cultural and spiritual values and the brotherly ties binding our peoples. She emphasised that the Heads of State being on friendly terms contributed importantly to the progress of our countries’ relations.

The Speaker of the Milli Majlis once again congratulated Aibek Dädebai on is election as Speaker of the Kuryltai and indicated the preparedness for joint work towards further strengthening of the inter-parliamentary co-operation.
