Lithuanian MPs Went to Martyrs’ Lane

The visiting parliamentary delegation led by the chairman of the Lithuanian Seimas’ working group for the inter-parliamentary connexions Lithuania-Azerbaijan Kazys Starkevičius went to the Martyrs’ Lane on 14 July.

The members of the Lithuanian delegation adorned with fresh flowers the gravestones of the heroic sons of the Motherland who had died for her independence and territorial wholeness. The guests also visited the Eternal Flame Memorial.

As they were admiring the views of Baku that lay before them from the city’s highest elevation, the guests also listened to an account about the construction and amenity work going on across the capital of Azerbaijan.

The Lithuanian parliamentarians were in the company of the head of the Milli Majlis working group for the Azerbaijan-Lithuania inter-parliamentary connexions Nasib Mahamaliyev and the Azerbaijani ambassador in Vilnius Tamerlan Garayev.
