Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova and the parliamentary delegation she is leading have landed in Istanbul on 20 July meaning to take part in the second trilateral meeting of the heads of the legislatures of Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Turkey that is scheduled to take place on 21 July.

Our delegation were welcomed at the Ataturk Airport of Istanbul by the leader of the working group for friendship with Azerbaijan in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Şamil Ayrım, Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Istanbul Narmina Mustafayeva and other officials.

It is noteworthy that the scope of the visit is not limited to the trilateral and that there will also be bi-partite meetings of the Chair of the Milli Majlis.

This working trip to Turkey will be over on 22 July.
