Deputy Chair of Parliament Adil Aliyev Meets Shahid Families in Astara Province
Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis/chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee Adil Aliyev went down to the Astara Province for another meeting with shahid families and gazies.
The Vice Speaker called at the shahid Panjali Teymurov’s home museum in the village of Ezeryud and talked to the gazies and the families of the fallen warriors. Respects were paid to the memory of our shahids. Then, the shahid families told the glorious paths of their heroic sons at the Patriotic War.
Mr Aliyev said there that Azerbaijan had been trying to solve the problem peacefully and through negotiations for almost thirty years but the negotiations had failed whereas Armenia the occupier had continued various provocations. A military operation was finally launched to stop the enemy’s frolics and follies and to free our lands from the invaders. In that operation, the brave sons of the Motherland led by President and the victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev freed our lands and made the national territory whole again thanks to their courage on the battlefield, according to Mr Aliyev.
The restoration and building work goes on in the liberated lands successfully now; soon enough, Garabagh will become one of the most beautiful corners of the world, Mr Aliyev continued.
President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva treat the shahid families and the war gazies with the unfailing attention and constant care. The State is doing everything necessary to improve their living conditions and recover their health. At the same time, our fellow citizens, too, show great respect for the shahid families and the gazies. Having said that, Adil Aliyev remarked that the life paths of the Patriotic War heroes set an example for the coming generations to follow.
The conversation ended with the shahid family members and the gazies thanking the country’s leadership for the care that it is taking of them.
