As reported previously, representatives of all the parliamentary political parties had appealed to the Chair of the Milli Majlis for a new Political Parties Law to meet the modern national development realities and the demands of the time. This future law of considerable social significance is in the making currently as instructed by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.

The local political parties holding state registration continue feeding their relevant suggestions to the Milli Majlis. Ten more parties did just that only a few days ago. Those are the New Azerbaijan Party, the Popular Party of Azerbaijan, the Party of Citizens and Development, the White Party, the National Revival Movement Party, the Modern Musavat Party, the New Time Party, the Unity Party, the National Democratic Party of Azerbaijan and the National Congress Party.

So, as many as 39 parties in total have done so by now.

It should be mentioned that a public hearing at the Milli Majlis is in the plan to ensure a broad discussion of the Political Parties Bill. Further relevant information will be made available during the hearing.
