Chair of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova is in Tashkent on a Working Trip

Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova arrived in Uzbekistan’s capital city of Tashkent on a working visit on 7 September meaning to take part in the 14th Summit of Women Speakers of Parliaments.

Mrs Gafarova was greeted at the Islam Karimov Airport of Tashkent by the Azerbaijani ambassador to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliyev and officials of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The scope of the stay in Uzbekistan holds participation in the summit’s activities and a speech at its sessions as well as a string of meetings with the leaders of the other attending delegations. The summit in the Uzbek capital will be capped with the adoption of the Tashkent Declaration.

Mrs Gafarova’s working visit to Tashkent will end on 10 September.
