Chair of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova Arrives in Tajikistan on an Official Visit

The parliamentary delegation led by Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova have arrived in Tajikistan on an official visit.

Amongst others, the delegation includes the leader of the Milli Majlis working group for the Azerbaijan-Tajikistan inter-parliamentary connexions Aydin Mirzazade and the group members Azer Badamov and Anatoliy Rafailov.

The arrivals were welcomed at the Dushanbe International Airport by First Deputy Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan Rajabbay Ahmadzade, Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Tajikistan Alimirzamin Asgarov, Tajikistan’s ambassador to Azerbaijan Rustam Soli and other officials.

It should be mentioned that the visit itinerary includes meetings of the Chair of the Milli Majlis with the Chairmen of both the Upper and the Lower Chambers of the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan. Growth prospects of our inter-parliamentary connexions, strengthening the co-operation and other matters will be discussed at those meetings.

The official visit to Tajikistan will come to an end on 12 September.
