Chair of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova Held Meetings at the 8th P20 Summit

Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has had a string of meetings behind the scenes of the 8th G20 parliamentary speakers’ summit in Jakarta.

Mrs Gafarova gave detailed information about the work and goals of the Non-Aligned Movement’s Parliamentary Network, incepted upon the Azerbaijani President’s instance, at her meetings with President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Duarte Pacheco, Chair of the People’s Representative Council of Indonesia Puan Maharani, Speaker of the Australian House of Representatives Milton Dick, Deputy Chair of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratiuk and the leader of the Cambodian parliamentary delegation Suos Yara.

Besides, those conversations revolved round co-operation amongst national legislatures and broadening the relations with the parliamentary organisations.
