Our MP Will Attend IPU Assembly

Ramin Mammadov, MP is leaving for the capital of the Republic of Rwanda Kigali on 10 October to take part in the 145th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

The Assembly will cover, amongst other subjects, gender equality within the frameworks of the scheduled events and activities, its parliamentary aspects and the relevant parliamentary work. Besides, the session participants will look at such topics as the role of parliaments in local and regional development of the countries with high migration levels and in apprehending human trade and violations of human rights. A final document covering the reviewed matters will be adopted eventually.

Our MP’s trip to Kigali will be over on 15 October.

The MPs are elected as based on the majority electoral system by free, private and confidential vote reliant on the general, equitable and immediate suffrage. The tenure of a Milli Majlis convocation is 5 years.
