The 59^th meeting of the Cultural, Educational and Social Affairs Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Co-operation (PABSEC) was held online on 13 October.

The leader of the Azerbaijani PABSEC delegation Eldar Guliyev, the chairman of the said PABSEC committee Musa Guliyev, the committee member Ramin Mammadov, the Assembly’s Secretary General Asaf Hajiyev and the MPs of the other member-states took part in the meeting that Musa Guliyev moderated.

The gathering began with the approval of the minutes of the 58^th committee meeting and a presentation about the committee’s current and forthcoming work. Ramin Mammadov then came up with a report on the social consequences of the migration crisis in the BSEC countries.  

The meeting participants approved both the report and the recommendations made by the committee in its regard. They also reviewed the committee’s current activities and other agenda items. Appropriate decisions were made. Lastly, the committee set the date, venue and agenda for its next meeting.
