Delegation Led by Chair of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova to Join CIS IPA Meetings

The parliamentary delegation to be led by Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova are leaving for Samarkand on a working visit on 26 October for a meeting of the Council of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the 54th session in plenary of the IPA.

Apart from the others included, the delegation about to leave for the Republic of Uzbekistan consists of Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis Adil Aliyev, the MPs Sabir Hajiyev, Rasim Musabeyov, Nizami Safarov, Mikhail Zabelin, Rauf Aliyev, Amina Agazade and Emin Hajiyev as well as the Chief of the Milli Majlis Staff Farid Hajiyev.

The discussions due at both the meeting of the CIS IPA Board and the IPA plenum will revolve round the agenda items. Besides, the leader of the Milli Majlis is expected to speak at the plenum.

Sahiba Gafarova intends to have a string of conversations with the heads of the other participating delegations whilst in Uzbekistan.
