At a PABSEC Committee Meeting

The Legal and Political Affairs Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Co-operation (PABSEC) held its 60th meeting in the videoconferencing mode on 25 October.

The leader of the Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation to the PABSEC/PABSEC Deputy Chairman and chairman of the Milli Majlis Counting Commission Eldar Guliyev as well as the delegation’s Eldar Ibrahimov (chairman of the Milli Majlis Disciplinary Commission) and MP Jala Ahmadova took part in the committee meeting that began with the approval of its agenda and the signing-off of the 59th meeting’s minutes.

Then, there was a keynote ‘Parliaments’ Roles in Promoting the Attraction of Foreign Investments to the BSEC’, with the committee members commenting on the subject.

PABSEC Secretary General Asaf Hajiyev who, too, had joined the meeting let the others know of the date, venue and agenda of the next committee assembly. He said that the 61st committee meeting would be dedicated to parliaments’ roles in reinforcing economic security in the PABSEC countries.
