Azerbaijani MP and leader of the Azerbaijan-Russia inter-parliamentary connexions working group Nizami Safarov is leaving for Moscow on 6 November in order to join the Victory Days events being arranged by the Azerbaijani embassy in the RF.

The anniversary of our glorious Victory in the Patriotic War that lasted for 44 days and was crowned with the de-occupation of the Azerbaijani lands after three decades of captivity will be celebrated there. Besides, the events’ participants will remember the warriors fallen for their Motherland.

This trip to Russian Federation will be over on 9 November.

The MPs Ramil Hasan and Mushfig Jafarov who are also in the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan inter-parliamentary connexions working group will be in Toshkent for a string of Victory Day ceremonies on 5-10 November.

The happenings include a conference that the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Friendship Group, the Turkic Aksakals’ Public Association and the Azerbaijani embassy in Uzbekistan are organising together.

Our parliamentarians will table a report at that conference; they will be talking about the historic import of the victory in the Patriotic War – the victory won by the heroic sons of our people who fought under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief/President Ilham Aliyev.

The member of the Milli Majlis and the Azerbaijan-Israel inter-parliamentary connexions working group Anatoliy Rafailov will go to Tel Aviv on 6 November meaning to join the forthcoming Victory Day events by the AZIZ Azerbaijan-Israel International Association.

The events’ participants will be talking about our lands’ liberation consequent to the Patriotic War, the large-scale restoration and rebuilding afoot in those territories now and the new realia that Azerbaijan brought forward in our region.

The travel to Israel will come to a head on 10 November.
