Chair of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova Receives V-Day Congratulatory Letters

Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has been receiving letters of congratulations these past few days on occasion of the Victory Day on 8 November.

 

In their correspondence, Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye Mustafa Şentop, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States Mehmet Süreyya Er and Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Co-operation Asaf Hajiyev cordially congratulate Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova and, in her person, the members of the Azerbaijani parliament on the second anniversary of our people’s glorious victory in the 44-day Patriotic War.

 

This victory, which was won thanks to the will of the Azerbaijani nation, the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev and the unparalleled valour of the victorious Azerbaijani Army, is hailed in the letters as an outstanding occurrence in modern history. Turkiye and Pakistan are reaffirming their brotherly and friendly support to Azerbaijan and state their confidence of a continued growth of friendship, co-operation and, generally, bilateral relations with our country.

 

Besides, the authors pray that the souls of our unforgettable shahids with their courage and self-sacrifice should rest in peace; they also wish our heroic ghazis good health and the people of Azerbaijan constant peace and prosperity.
