Chairman of the Milli Majlis Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising Committee Tahir Mirkishili is leaving for Riga on 20 November for the Forum of Supreme Audit Bodies of the EU Eastern Partnership, organized by Latvia’s State Department of Audit as part of the co-operation grid with the EU EP SABs.

Delegates from Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia will take part in the forum. New strategic initiatives of the Latvian SAB in both the national and regional context will be tabled there. Also, the forum will focus on promotion of co-operation and international obligations, audit findings’ impacts and audit recommendations’ enforcement control, the national SABs strategic initiatives for the coming years, exchange of experience amongst the national bodies and additional support opportunities for the SABs within the Eastern Partnership region.

The Azerbaijani parliamentarian’s trip to Latvia will end on 23 November.
