Going to Meetings of PACE Bureau and Permanent Committee

Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee for International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations, head of our permanent delegation to the PACE Samad Seyidov will be in Reykjavik on 23 November for the planned meetings of the PACE Bureau and Permanent Committee.

The outcomes of the monitoring of the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Bosnia & Herzegovina and Bulgaria will be surveyed at the meeting. Besides, its agenda includes reports about the role of the Council of Europe in bolstering the European political architecture as well as the otherwise-themed ones.

Mr Seyidov’s visit to Iceland will be over on 26 November.

The Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan - The state legislative power branch organ is a unicameral parliament that has 125 MPs. The MPs are elected as based on the majority electoral system by free, private and confidential vote reliant on the general, equitable and immediate suffrage. The tenure of a Milli Majlis convocation is 5 years.
