We reported earlier that the Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation led by Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova are in the Kingdom of Cambodia for the 43^rd General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.

The 23^rd of November saw, amongst other things, a dialogue of representatives of the ASEAN member states’ parliaments and those of the observer-status parliaments on the margins of the General Assembly. Among those were also the head of the Milli Majlis working group for inter-parliamentary connexions with Cambodia Ramin Mammadov and MP Elnur Allahverdiyev.

Our MPs spoke at the session Peace, Sustainable Development and post-COVID-19 Recovery. Their narratives were about Azerbaijan’s engagement in keeping peace, maintaining sustainable development and the recovery process in the post-covid period. They also announced the achievements secured in all those areas.

The Milli Majlis members answered the questions of the ASEAN parliaments’ representatives afterwards.
