Deputy Chair of Milli Majlis Receives a Kazakh MP
Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis/Head of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan inter-parliamentary connexions working group Adil Aliyev received a member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, member of the Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary working group and renowned politologists Aydos Sarym together with the Kazakh ambassador in Baku Serzhan Abdikarimov on 22 November.
The Vice Speaker followed an exchange of greetings up with a conversation about the common values binding our fraternal nations together and about also the Azerbaijani-Kazakh co-operation, bilateral as well as via the international organisations. A propos, Mr Aliyev mentioned the mutual backing given in the Organisation of Turkic States and other similar supranational entities. This reciprocal support serves our shared interests, in the opinion of Adil Aliyev who went on to say contentedly that the friendly ties of our states incepted by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev were continued and intensified by the two states’ leaders Ilham Aliyev and Kasim-Jomart Tokayev nowadays. Once again, Adil Aliyev congratulated the brotherly Kazakhs on Kasim-Jomart Tokayev’s re-election as President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Vice Speaker praised the Kazakh guest’s arrival in order to take part in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the New Azerbaijan Party. Though an independent MP, Mr Aliyev said, he observed the current agile work of the NAP whilst remaining aware of its outstanding deeds with which the national history is marked.
The efforts to normalise the Azerbaijani-Armenian do not sit well with states such as France, for instance, which are trying to harm the peace process on every turn by abetting separatism and trampling the international law underfoot in this way, Mr Aliyev told Mr Sarym.
Aydos Sarym of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan thanked for the kind welcome, mentioned the international co-operation’s substantial contribution in our friendship and said that the two brotherly countries were always side by side and always supported each other. The Kazakh people were amongst those who celebrated Azerbaijan’s victory in the Patriotic War the most, according to Mr Sarym who also brought up our interaction in international organisations.
Other matters of shared interest were talked over, too, as the conversation progressed.
