At PACE Committees’ Meetings

Members of the Milli Majlis delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Sevinj Fataliyeva and Konul Nurullayeva will join the meetings of the PACE Committees on Equality and Non-Discrimination and on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development, both due to take place in Paris on the 1st and 2nd of December.

Konul Nurullayeva, for one, is joining the meeting of the Equality and Non-Discrimination Committee due on 1 December. There, they will review the activities of the No Hate Parliamentary Alliance and the Parliamentary Network Women Free from Violence. Also, the meeting participants will discuss prevention of gender violence cases, backing to inclusive participation in parliamentary work and in economic as well as political life and other as burning issues. Appropriate decisions will be made, too.

Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Committee Sevinj Fataliyeva will take part in the meeting of the Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development Committee set for 2 December.

The agenda of the meeting encompasses armed conflicts’ environmental impacts, emergencies in terms of health of society, political strategies to avert natural cataclysms and safeguarding children against harmful effects of the Internet.
