Members of the delegation of the Milli Majlis to the PACE Rafael Huseynov and Nigyar Arpadarai will be taking part in the scheduled meetings of the committees of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Paris on 5-7 December.

Rafael Huseynov will join the meeting of the Committee on Culture, Science, Education and Media on 5-6 December where they will review promotion of online education and inter-cultural dialogues, creation of open academic networks of the Council of Europe, climatic changes’ impacts on cultural heritage and other matters. Appropriate decisions are to be made, too.

The meeting of the Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons on 7 December will have amongst its participants Nigyar Arpadarai who, incidentally, chairs the PACE Sub-Committee on Public Health and Sustainable Development.

Rapporteurs will be appointed there on the situation with migrants from certain conflict-stricken and crisis-ridden countries. Besides, the problems confronting migrants and refugees will be tabled for consideration. It is also planned to talk over social integration of migrants, refugees and displaced persons with the aid of sports and the European solidarity in the context of granting refuge and according international protection.
