A Group of Milli Majlis Staff Members Taking Part in Experience Exchange at Grand National Assembly of Türkiye

A group of Milli Majlis administration employees led by Deputy Chief of Staff Yashar Amashov are in Ankara for a forthcoming experience exchange due at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye.

The visit will see presentations about the workings and operations of the GNAT departments for laws and edicts, research services, MP support services, IT as well as the library, archival and steno services. In this way, the visiting employees of the Milli Majlis Staff will acquire the Turkish experience in legislative process, document circulation and processing of citizen applications. They will also acquaint themselves with e-documentation, HR, liaison amongst MP offices and the parliament, how co-operation with international organisations is organised, how data resources and technologies are arranged, the method used to control voting and sittings, cybersecurity and other matters.

Additionally, our employees will call at the National Library of Türkiye, the State Archive Department and the Digital Transformation Bureau of the Presidential Administration so as to find out about their operations.

It should be mentioned also that the scope of the visit includes a meeting with Şamil Ayrım who is heading the GNAT group for inter-parliamentary friendship with Azerbaijan.
