Member of the Milli Majlis Mushfig Jafarov is leaving to Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 22 February meaning to take part in the events to mark the 31st anniversary of the Khojali Genocide.

There will be an international conference there on 23 February that MP Jafarov will attend alongside local parliamentarians, state officials, diplomatists stationed in Bosnia and Herzegovina and representatives of NGOs, mass media and youth organisations.

The conference will once again inform the international community of Azerbaijan and the Khojali Massacre of Azerbaijani people that the Armenian armed forces had committed. There will be on display the documents related to this tragedy.

After the international conference, the memorial in honour of the Khojali Genocide victims will be visited in Sarajevo’s Friendship Park overhauled at the suggestion of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and with the Azerbaijani State’s financial backing. A wreath will be put to the memorial; the tragedy’s victims will be commemorated.
