The members of the Ukrainian Supreme Rada’s group of inter-parliamentary connexions with Azerbaijan who are in Azerbaijan have gone to both the Alley of Honour and the Martyrs’ Lane on 28 February.

Arriving at the Alley of Honour first, they paid tribute in memoriam our National Leader and architect and builder of the modern independent Azerbaijani State Heydar Aliyev, putting a wreath at his tombstone and decorating it with fresh flowers.

In the Martyrs’ Lane then, the guests from Ukraine respectfully visited the graves of our warriors fallen in action for the freedom of their country. The Rada members adorned the fallen heroes’ gravestones with fresh flowers and went over to the Eternal Flame Memorial then.

The guests from the Supreme Rada were accompanied by local officials including the head of the Milli Majlis working group for inter-parliamentary connexions with Ukraine Rufat Guliyev.
