Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Groups of Milli Majlis, Supreme Rada Meet

The inter-parliamentary friendship groups of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis and Ukraine’s Supreme Rada met on 28 February.

Rufat Guliyev heading the group of the Milli Majlis gladly welcomed the Ukrainian colleagues to the Azerbaijani legislature, and went on to talk about the bilateral friendship ties, the values uniting the Azerbaijanis and the Ukrainians, the opportunities generated by parliamentary diplomacy, co-operation in inter-parliamentary organisations, both groups’ roles in expanding the inter-parliamentary connexions, the importance of reciprocal visits, regional security and other things.

The head of the Supreme Rada inter-parliamentary friendship group for Azerbaijan Vladimir Kreydenko witnessed satisfaction with the visit to our country. He, in turned, spoke of the interaction expansion opportunities in various fields and thanked Azerbaijan for her humanitarian and moral backing to Ukraine. Mr Kreydenko also said his thanks further down the conversation for the good wishes for his country.

The chairman of a Milli Majlis committee Tahir Mirkishili, MP Javanshir Feyziyev and members of the Azerbaijan-Ukraine WG Javid Osmanov and Naghif Hamzayev also took part in the meeting.
