The visiting delegation led by Chairman of the People’s Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan of RF Zaur Askenderov went to the graveside of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Martyrs’ Lane on 15 March.

First, the guests arrived in the Alley of Honour to commemorate our National Leader, architect and builder of the modern Azerbaijani State Heydar Aliyev, and to put a wreath at his tomb.

They also went over to the grave of remarkable ophthalmic Zarifa Aliyeva and put fresh flowers on it.

After that, the Dagestani delegation travelled to the Martyrs’ Lane in order to pay tribute in memoriam the heroes fallen for their Motherland’s freedom and sovereignty and to adorn their graves with fresh flowers.

The colleagues from Dagestan also visited the Eternal Flame Memorial.

MP Azer Badamov who is a member of the Azerbaijan-Russia inter-parliamentary friendship working group and other officials kept them company on both trips.
