Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova received on 7 April the visiting delegation led by Bob Blackman, head of the friendship group for Azerbaijan in the Parliament of the United Kingdom.

Sahiba Gafarova lauded the delegation’s arrival to Azerbaijan. She told them of the new situation across the region consequent to Azerbaijan having de-occupied her lands, let them know of Azerbaijan’s peace initiatives and talked about the bilateral inter-parliamentary links’ growth prospects and the friendship groups’ relevant inputs.

Bob Blackman said that he was pleased with the meetings and conversations held during this visit. He shared impressions of the trip to Aghdam, praised the restoration work continuing in our liberated lands and set forth his considerations regarding the state of affairs in the region.
