Member of Korea’s National Assembly Visits Martyrs’ Lane

Chairman of the Korea-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group Suh Byung-soo and his delegation went to the Martyrs’ Lane on 20 April in order to pay tribute to the memory of the heroic sons of the Motherland who had laid down their lives for her freedom and sovereignty.

The Korean delegation and its leader adorned the fallen heroes’ tombs with fresh flowers and also went over to the Eternal Flame Memorial.

As they were contemplating the landscape of Baku seen from the city’s highest point, the guests also listened to a narrative about the history of the Martyrs’ Lane and the arrangement and building going on all over the Azerbaijani capital.

MP Malik Hasanov who heads the Azerbaijan-Korea inter-parliamentary connexions working group and other officials kept the Korean MPs company.
