TÜRKPA Economic Co-operation Commission Held a Meeting
The 10th meeting of the Economic Co-operation Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States went as a link-up on 20 April. Members of the TÜRKPA delegations of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan joined the meeting; Azerbaijan was represented by MP Aghalar Valiyev.
Acting Head of the Commission and member of the Mazhilis of the RK Parliament Anas Bakkozhayev opened the meeting and said that it was themed ‘Integration of the Trading and Economic Potential of the TÜRKPA Member States: the Future Transport Framework in a New Reality’.
TÜRKPA Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er spoke about development of the links amongst the Member States and the national parliaments’ roles in this process.
A draft report on the subject was then heard. The Commission members approved both it and a recommendation decision lined up for consideration at the next TÜRKPA plenary meeting. In addition, the Digital Financial Assets model law was discussed, other issues on the agenda were considered and the topic of the next meeting of the Commission was set.
