Many countries, the Russian Federation included, will hold a series of events to mark the centenary of the National leader Heydar Aliyev.

Aydin Mirzazade of the Milli Majlis WG for Azerbaijani-Russian inter-parliamentary connexions will be in Vladikavkaz on 5 May and in Pyatigorsk on 7 May to attend the RF ceremonies.

The events will cover the life and socio-political activities of the prominent political and statesman Heydar Aliyev; there will be sporting competitions and cultural programmes to celebrate the centenary of the Great leader.

MP Mirzazade’s voyage will end on 7 May.
