The leader of the Italian-Azerbaijani parliamentary friendship group Senator Stefano Lucidi has sent a letter to the leader of the Azebraijan-Italy interparliamentary relations group Azer Karimli on the occasion of the 29^th anniversary of the Khojali Genocide.

In his letter written in response to Mr Karimli’s appeal, Mr Lucidi commemorates the Khojali Tragedy, sends his condolences on this horrendous genocidal act and stresses that such bloody calamities live in any nation’s memory forever.

Mr Lucidi also wrote of the Italian-Azerbaijani co-operation prospects for a more beautiful future’s sake and witnessed Italy’s support to restoration and rearrangement of the de-occupied lands of Azerbaijan.
