PACE Standing Committee Holding a Meeting

The leader of the Milli Majlis International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Committee/the Azerbaijani delegation to the PACE Samad Seyidov is leaving for Reykjavík on 14 May to take part in the scheduled meeting of the Standing Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

The meeting will cover a number of subjects including those of the CE as the key player in multilateralism architecture and the CE as a human rights defence pioneer: the new generation rights.

MP Seyidov will also join a tour-de-table on the democratic dimension for the future that the Althing is holding together with University of Iceland.

The trip to Reykjavík will end on 16 May.
