Milli Majlis Members to Watch Presidential Ballot in Türkiye

A group of Milli Majlis Members will travel to Ankara on 26 May to monitor the second round of the presidential election in Türkiye due on 28 May.

Ahliman Amiraslanov who is heading an Azerbaijani parliamentary committee and the Azerbaijan-Türkiye inter-parliamentary connexions WG and the group’s Anar Mammadov will act on behalf of the TÜRKPA. Their fellow deputy Azay Guliyev who is helming the Azerbaijani delegation to the OSCE PA will naturally be monitoring the proceedings for this Assembly.

The run-up to the second round of the ballot will be inspected. On the election day, then, our MPs will be monitoring the vote proper and observing elector activity levels.

This trip to Türkiye is set to end on 29 May.
