Milli Majlis Chair Sahiba Gafarova, MPs Visit Great Leader’s Tomb

Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, the Milli Majlis’ First Deputy Speaker Ali Huseynli and Deputy Speaker Fazail Ibrahimli as well as MPs and parliamentary staff members went to the Alley of Honour on 14 June, on the eve of the National Deliverance Day.
Here, they reverently paid tribute to the memory of our National Leader, architect and builder of the modern Azerbaijani State Heydar Aliyev. A wreath was laid at his tombstone.
The memory of the outstanding ophthalmologic research academician Zarifa Aliyeva was honoured as well; her gravestone was adorned with fresh flowers.
