The Milli Majlis working group for inter-parliamentary connexions with Estonia had an online meeting with the Riigikogu inter-parliamentary friendship group for Azerbaijan on 8 June.

Jala Ahmadova who leads the aforementioned WG of the Milli Majlis talked about the bilateral inter-legislature links and the role in their progress fulfilled by our MPs’ trips to Estonia and Estonian colleagues’ to Azerbaijan.

Riina Solman heading the Riigikogu friendship group stressed the interest in furthering the relations with the Milli Majlis and deepening the co-operation with it.

Then, the meeting participants exchanged views on the current state of the inter-parliamentary relations, growth prospects and other matters of shared interest.

Those who also linked up to the videoconference were members of the Milli Majlis WG Musa Guliyev, Musa Gasimli, Ulviya Hamzayeva, Arzu Naghiyev and Azer Karimli as well as Estonian MPs.
