Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Chairman of our Youth and Sports Committee Adil Aliyev who is in the Kingdom of Morocco now has met with President of the Moroccan Royal Federation of Kickboxing Abdelkarim El Hilali and President of the Moroccan Royal Taekwondo Federation Driss El Hilali in Casablanca.

During their meeting, the Deputy Speaker talked about the successful sports policy of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the start of sports’ progress in our country with President Ilham Aliyev’s election as Head of the National Olympic Committee in 1997, the current massive advancement of both physical training and sports as well our athletes’ considerable achievements at international competitions. Azerbaijan, already one of the world's sporting powers, plays host to international Olympic competitions and other prestigious sport events, Mr Aliyev remarked.

Other sport-related matters and co-operation prospects were also discussed at the meeting amongst the participants of which was the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Morocco Nazim Samadov.
