A delegation led by Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT) Numan Kurtulmuş arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit on 11 July.

A guard of honour was posted at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport with the national flags of both countries flying.

The welcoming party for Mr Kurtulmuş included, amongst others, First Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis Ali Huseynli, Head of our working group for inter-parliamentary connexions with Türkiye Ahliman Amiraslanov and the two countries’ ambassadors: Rashad Mammadov of Azerbaijan and Cahit Bağçı of Türkiye.
