Milli Majlis Speaker Sahiba Gafarova Sends Condolences Over Makhachkala Explosion

On 15 August, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova sent a letter of condolences to Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin, Head of the RF Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko and Chairman of the People’s Assembly of the RF Republic of Dagestan Zaur Askenderov in connexion with the lethal explosion in Makhachkala, the capital city of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation.

Mrs Gafarova offers sincere and deep condolences to her Russian colleagues as well as to the families and loved ones of the victims of this grave tragedy, speaking on behalf of herself and the deputies of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Her letter also contains wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.
