Slovak Parliamentary Delegation Visit Martyrs’ Lane

The delegation led by Speaker of Slovakia’s National Council Boris Kollar and visiting in Azerbaijan currently went to the Martyrs’ Lane on 5 September to pay their respects to the memory of the heroes fallen for their Motherland’s freedom. The Slovak parliamentarians adorned the warriors’ gravestones with fresh flowers; a wreath was installed at the Eternal Flame memorial, besides.

Then the guests observed the cityscape from Baku’s highest elevation and listened to a story about the history of the Martyrs’ Lane and about the on-going construction and amenity work all over the capital city.

Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis Fazail Ibrahimli, the head of the Milli Majlis WG for inter-parliamentary connexions with Bratislava Anar Mammadov and other officials accompanied the Slovak colleagues.
