At the Meeting of the Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising Committee
The Committee for Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising of the Milli Majlis had a meeting on 15 March to look at appointing auditors of the Chamber of Accounts of the Parliament.
Committee Chairman Tahir Mirkishili introduced to the gathering Nasir Sadigov (the candidate Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts) as well as Javid Bayramov, Hilal Huseynov and Vafa Mutallimova (the candidate auditors of the Chamber of Accounts), all nominated on the proposal of Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova and on the force of Part IV of Article 44 of the Internal Charter of the Parliament, Article 11.3 of the Law on the Chamber of Accounts and Part II of Article 12 of the Law on the Committees of the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic.
The proposed candidates to fill the existing vacancies in the Chamber are highly professional and meet the requirements that Article 12 of the Law on the Chamber of Accounts puts to the Chamber’s members. The work of the Chamber related to execution of the State Budget manifests itself vividly through the thematic coverage in the analytical materials submitted for consideration of the MPs as well as in the flawless quality to which those materials are composed, Mr Mirkishili was saying. As regards the present candidates, they have been making their respective special contributions to this process improving from year to year, he added.
The candidates to the new positions were heard then. Each of them expressed the resolve to make every effort and use every opportunity to justify the confidence being put in them.
Deputy Committee Chairman Ali Masimli and the MPs Ziyad Samadzade, Vahid Ahmadov, Vugar Bayramov and Mahir Abbaszade spoke favourably of all the introduced candidates, wished the organisation that they represent every success in building its work up consistently with the challenges of the new times and shared some proposals and recommendations.
Summing the discussion up, Mr Mirkishili remarked that the Committee considered it expedient to appoint the candidates to the correspondent positions.
It was recommended in the end that this matter should be tabled at a plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
