The Azerbaijani MPs Elnur Allahverdiyev, Kamran Bayramov and Sevil Mikayilova as well as Deputy Chief of the Milli Majlis Staff Rustam Mahmudov and other officials are leaving for the capital city of the Republic of Angola, Luanda, on 22 October to take part in the 147^th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

While in Luanda, our MPs will join the general discussion about legislative assemblies’ endeavours to promote peace, justice and strong institutions; they will also take part in the scheduled meetings of the IPU standing committees.

The itinerary of the 147^th IPU Assembly includes also a meeting to be dedicated to the process of institutional development of the Non-Aligned Movement’s Parliamentary Network, international co-operation and co-operation prospects.

The visit to the Angolan capital city will end on 28 October.
