Meeting with the Delegation of Czech Parliament

Head of the Azerbaijan-Austria Working Group on Inter-Parliamentary Relations Elnur Allahverdiyev had a meeting with Head of the Czech-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Jan Kubík on 2 October.

Saying to Mr Kubík that he was glad to see him at the Milli Majlis a second time, Mr Allahverdiyev also told the Czech colleague who is in Baku for the 74th International Astronautics Congress that such visits held a place of pride in terms of furthering the bilateral relations.

Besides, Mr Allahverdiyev touched on the Azerbaijani-Czech strategic partnership and underscored the roles of the parliaments in the all-in advancement of the relations between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic.

The Azerbaijani Army’s local anti-terrorist measures of 19-20 September were brought up then, with Mr Allahverdiyev thanking Mr Kubík for his efforts to communicate truthful information about Azerbaijan to the Czech society and legislature.

Jan Kubík voiced the appreciation of the meeting and satisfaction with his second arrival in our country in a short while. He also stressed the intention of the Czech Republic to continue furthering the relations with Azerbaijan and the readiness of the group he is heading to carry on telling the truth about Azerbaijan.

Members of the Milli Majlis WG Emin Hajiyev and Aliabbas Salahzade shared their considerations regarding the progress of the Azerbaijani-Czech relations.

Other matters of shared concern were discussed, too, as the meeting went on.
