Chair of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova Sends a Congratulatory Letter to GNAT Chairman Numan Kurtulmuş

Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova sent a congratulatory letter to Chairman of the Great National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmuş on 28 October on the Republic Day which this year marks a century since the inception day of the Republic of Türkiye.

The letter brings the congratulations of Sahiba Gafarova and the Members of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Numan Kurtulmuş as well as the GNAT Members and the brotherly people of Türkiye.

The declaration by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey at the GNAT on 29 October 1923 set in motion a new and glorious period of modern Turkish history. The brotherly Turkey has secured comprehensive growth in the political, economic, technological and other fields over the past years to emerge as a powerful state actively involved in global processes. Also, the realisation of the Türkiye at 100 vision will bring the country yet greater successes and victories.

It is emphasised in the letter that we are extremely glad of the exemplary nature of the brotherhood, unity and strategic partnership of Azerbaijan and Türkiye that have attained their summit having been guided by the ‘one nation – two states’ principle.

The Milli Majlis-GNAT co-operation will continue evolving and broadening further thanks to combined efforts, it is pointed in the letter that ends with the wishes of constant well-being and prosperity for the dear Turkish people.
