The chairman of the Milli Majlis International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Committee, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the PACE Samad Seyidov and the MPs Sevinj Fataliyeva, Rafael Huseynov, Erkin Gadirli and Kamal Jafarov will be in Paris on 30 November to 14 December. There in the French capital our MPs will be attending the meetings of the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe as well as the PACE committees on political affairs and democracy, legal affairs and human rights, social affairs and sustainable development, and culture, education and science.

The CE Human Rights Commissioner will be selected and the rapporteur on the abolishment of capital punishment will be appointed at the committee meetings. Besides, they will be discussing enhancing young people’s role in the PACE, heritage and climate changes, prevention of the erasure of cultural identity at times of war and peace, violence against children in Europe, protection of human rights for coming generations and the search for missing migrants, refugees and asylum-seekers.

The Azerbaijani MPs will take part in the discussions and make suggestions regarding the listed topics.
