A Meeting with Delegation of Kyrgyzstan Chamber of Accounts at Milli Majlis

Chairman of the Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising Committee of the Milli Majlis Tahir Mirkishili and the Committee members had a meeting on 23 October with the visiting delegation led by Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Akmatov.

Expressing satisfaction with the opportunity to welcome the guests in our country, Tahir Mirkishili told them about the economic indicators of Azerbaijan, the process of budget discussions in the Milli Majlis, the parliamentary control over the Budget, the role of the Chamber of Accounts and the re-building and reclamation work done by Azerbaijan in her territories liberated from Armenian occupation. In addition, Mr Mirkishili shared his thoughts on the funds allocated to all those projects and the government programmes being implemented and the dangers posed by the mines planted by Armenia.

Saying that he was pleased with the visit to our country, Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Akmatov told the Milli Majlis members of the co-operation amongst the Turkic states, the exchange of experience between the Chambers of Accounts of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, the economic projects that Kyrgyzstan is implementing and the revenues and expenses of the state budget of his country. He also answered their questions.

Then, there was an exchange of opinions about interaction between the legislatures and the Chambers of Accounts, experience exchange between the latter and other things.

Amongst the officials who took part in the meeting were the members of the Milli Majlis Ali Masimli, Aydin Huseynov, Mahir Abbaszade and Vugar Bayramov, Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vugar Gulmammadov and staff members of the Chamber of Accounts of the Kyrgyz Republic.
