Speaker of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova Arrives in Swiss Confederation on a Working Visit

The parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova arrived in Geneva in the Swiss Confederation on a working visit on 15 May.

Among the officials who welcomed the delegation at the Geneva International Airport were Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Switzerland Fuad Isgandarov and Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the UN Office and other international organisations in Geneva Galib Israfilov. The Speaker of the Milli Majlis will take part in the first meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the 6th World Conference of Presidents of Parliaments, and will also meet with women Speakers of Parliament to prepare for the Summit of Women Speakers of Parliaments during this visit.

The delegation includes the MPs Elnur Allahverdiyev and Soltan Mammadov as well as other officials.
