On the 27^th of May, a parliamentary delegation headed by Sahiba Gafarova, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis, arrived in Antigua and Barbuda for an official visit.

Upon the arrival at St. John's Airport, Sahiba Gafarova was greeted by Anthony Liverpool, the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Antigua and Barbuda, Ruslan Rzayev, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Cuba, and other official persons.

The Speaker of the Milli Majlis will take part in the opening ceremony of the 4^th International Conference on Small Island Developing States and the 1^st Plenary Meeting of the Conference. Also planned are Sahiba Gafarova's speech at the Plenary Session and a series of meetings she will have with the participating delegation leaders.
