At the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States

The 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States, titled ‘Charting the Course Toward Resilient Prosperity,’ was held in St. John's, the capital of Antigua and Barbuda. It is worth noting that the International Conference was attended by many delegates, including Heads of Government, from various countries.

Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova who, too, took part in this international event read out to its participants an address from the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

After delivering the message, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova mentioned the participation in the current event of the leading crew of the COP-29 which will be held in our country. She stated that the Azerbaijani Delegation were ready to meet with all the parties, listen to them and ensure that the issues they would raise would be reflected in the COP-29 agenda.
