The parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova arrived in Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus, on an official visit on 9 June.

The Speaker of the Milli Majlis was greeted at the international airport of Minsk by Speaker of the Council of  the Republic of the Belarusian Parliament Natalya Kochanova, Chairman of the Permanent Commission for international relations and national security Serghey Sivets, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Belarus Maharram Aliyev and other officials.

The itinerary of the visit includes several meetings for Speaker Sahiba Gafarova to have.

It should be mentioned that the delegation includes, amongst other officials, Head of the Azerbaijani Parliament’s Working Group for inter-parliamentary relations with Belarus Ziyad Samadzade and the MPs Aghalar Valiyev and Arzu Naghiyev.
